It was three days after Daniel had been admitted to the hospital and Dr. Stevens had said he could be released that morning. He looked over at the cot where Methos lay sleeping and smiled to himself. He was brought out of his thoughts as the door to his room opened and Dr. Stevens walked in, holding all of the paperwork that needed to be signed before Daniel could leave. The doctor glanced over at Methos and then at Daniel.

"Shall I wake him or did you want to do that?"

Daniel nodded slowly, pulling Methos closer to him, one hand sliding through his lover's hair, holding him close.

"I'd like that, love. Maybe when I've fully recovered we can go to my estate in Egypt and I can show you some of my own journals and artifacts..."
