It was three days after Daniel had been admitted to the hospital and Dr. Stevens had said he could be released that morning. He looked over at the cot where Methos lay sleeping and smiled to himself. The man had not once left his side since his arrival. It gave Daniel hope that maybe they'd work things out again. He thought of where they might go because Daniel didn't think he could go back to his apartment given that Methos had killed Jack there. He'd actually been looking to buy a house up in the mountains and wondered if he could convince Methos to stay with him there if he did so...

He was brought out of his thoughts as the door to his room opened and Dr. Stevens walked in, holding all of the paperwork that needed to be signed before Daniel could leave. The doctor glanced over at Methos and then at Daniel.

"Shall I wake him or did you want to do that?"

Daniel gasped as he finally felt complete once again for the first time in two years. His hands tightened along Methos' arms as he pulled his lover closer, kissing him harshly.

He leaned over top of Daniel welcoming the kiss, and started to motion his hips in circular motions before thrusting in earnest.

Daniel gasped into that kiss as Methos began moving, shifting to wrap his legs around his lover's waist, holding him even closer as his body rocked against that of the elder in their movements.

His hips pistoned, skin meeting skin with a slap. Methos wrapped a hand around Daniel's length and started to stroke him in time with his thrusts.

Daniel gave a sharp cry at that, his body already on fire from within and Methos' touch seemed to inflame it even more. The tears behind his eyes fell down the sides of his face and his fingers dug deeply into his lover's back.

"Oh gods, Methos... so close..."

Methos took in the sight of Daniel's tears, and started to stroke him more urgently as he continued to enter him, "Daniel, oh... love you... so much..."

Daniel cried out at those very words, spilling hotly between them even as he tightened almost impossibly around his lover's length.

Methos grunted at the sudden tightening, shutting his eyes momentarily before several more strokes sent him tumbling over the edge and his was spilling inside Daniel with a shout of ecstasy.

Daniel let out a softer cry at that, pulling Methos tightly against him, holding on to him as best as he could.

"Love you too," he was finally able to whisper back as he slowly got his breathing back under control.

He reached out to brush the tears from Daniel's face before kissing him passionately.

Daniel returned that kiss with just as much passion and force, pouring everything he felt into it.

He cupped the sides of Daniel's face and continued to kiss him before finally needing to come up for air. Methos pulled back and looked him in the eyes briefly before burying his face into the crook of his neck.

Daniel slid one hand through the back of his lover's hair, just holding him tightly.

"Gods... I don't want to lose this again," he whispered softly, still fighting back the tears that continued to threaten even more so than before. "I love you so much... missed you so much..."

He wanted to say he was sorry again, but knew that Daniel wanted none of it. Methos kissed his shoulder "I don't want to lose it again, either, Daniel."

That was all he needed to hear and Daniel moved to kiss him softly, pulling him closer to just hold him.

"thank you," he whispered. "I needed to hear that..."

"Welcome, Daniel." he held him back for a long moment, "We should probably finish packing, so we don't miss our flight."

"Hmmm... fine. But don't expect me to give you up so easily once we're in London," he teased softly, kissing him once more before letting go of him. "Speaking of... where are we staying in London? Does Dante have a home there as well?"

"Dante has reserved the Infinity Suite at the Langham hotel for a month." Methos smiled, pulling away to help Daniel pack his things.

"Well since you have such impeccable taste, I can't wait to see this suite of yours," he whispered, getting dressed once more so that he could finish packing.

"You won't be disappointed," Methos pulled on his clothes.

"With you, I rarely ever am," Daniel said quietly as he finished packing, closing and locking the second of his suitcases before moving to the hanging bag he had for the two suits he'd purchased as well.

He started to scope the room for anything they might have forgotten and hefted up his bags. Then took them to the door, opening it up to hold for Daniel with his luggage.

Daniel grabbed everything he had and headed for the door, kissing Methos as he passed him out into the hallway. He followed Methos down and out of the hotel to the cab that waited to take them to the airport.

"Do you still have my papers?"

"Yes, they're in my coat." he gestured his head to the trenchcoat he was wearing, as he threw his luggage into the trunk of the taxicab.

"Good," Daniel said quietly, his own luggage joining that of his lover before he slid into the backseat of the cab, waiting for Methos to join him so they could be away from this place. The quicker they got out of the country, the happier Daniel would be.
