Traveling again

Daniel finished out the semester at the university and informed them, with some regret evident, that he would not be returning for summer sessions and probably not in the fall either. He was happy with his decision because he wanted time with Methos. He'd taught for a year but the whole thing with Brian had bothered him a lot and he didn't really feel safe out in the open so to speak; not that he was going to tell that to his husband, though. He didn't want Methos to worry about him.

He left campus and headed to the coffee shop/bookstore that his husband was leaving in the capable hands of his store manager until they returned to Spain. Leaving the things from his office inside the car, Daniel stepped out and headed into the store, searching for his husband behind the counter. The place was incredibly busy, as usual. Daniel's smiled slipped a little. He hoped he wasn't being selfish by taking Methos away from this... maybe he should have given this more thought....

He grinned at Daniel's reaction, looking at him from over his pizza.

"I certainly am." he winked.

Daniel smile, shaking his head as he finished off one slice of pizza and reached for another.

"And just what kind of mood might that be?" he asked after a few minutes of quiet between them.

A slow grin spread across his face as he took his glass of wine and leaned back in him chair, leveling Daniel with a heated look, "I think you have a pretty good idea."

Daniel felt the heat from his face spread through the rest of his body at that look and swallowed hard against the tightness in his throat. Gods but he loved the affect his husband had on him like this.

"I do," he said softly, watching Methos intently. "And I'm just curious as to whether or not I should just give in to what I know you want or whether or not I should make you really work for it..."

His gaze darkened, "Work for it, huh?"

Daniel visibly shivered at the way his husband's eyes darkened. He knew he was playing with fire but gods, he couldn't stop himself sometimes. And yes, this was going to be one of those times. He didn't give a verbal answer as he went back to his pizza, making a show of licking cheese off his lips or playing with the rim of his wine glass when he took a sip. His gaze never left Methos, watching his husband's reaction.

Methos' eyes never left Daniel as he ate too, a devious smile gracing his lips.

Daniel finished eating and leaned back in his chair, finishing the wine in his glass before he slowly pushed back from the table. He stood and began gathering plates.

"Well... since I'm sure you have things to do, I'll just leave you to it." Oh they'd played this game before and he knew Methos would only let him get so far before stopping him and Daniel did so love how his husband would go about stopping him.

"There's really only one thing I feel like doing right now..." he said suggestively, setting his now empty wine glass down.

He did love this game, the psuedo-chase. It could only end one way, but he did enjoy this sort of foreplay that so added to the excitement.

"Oh? Must be something very important then. I guess I should go inside and... find somewhere to hide myself until you're no longer... busy." He backed towards the door that would lead into the house...

Methos ate the last bit of pizza then stood up, his stance suggesting he was ready to chase him down, "Oh, there's no need to go anywhere, Daniel..."

Daniel shivered at that look, chewing on his bottom lip for a moment.

"Well I certainly wouldn't want to bother you... it's fine. Really. I can go back to the study and leave you be..."

"No, I insist..." he took a step from the table toward him.

Daniel's look turned from coy to seductive as he slowly started unbuttoning his shirt even as he kept backing into the house.

"Well... if you insist..." he turned and took off for the stairs that led up to their bedroom.

Methos took off like a shot in hot pursuit, hurrying after him, trying to catch him on the stairs.

Daniel jumped a couple of the stairs and made it into the hallway that would lead to their bedroom.

He caught him before he reached the door, pressing him against the wall just shy of the door, "Got you..." his eyes were searing and voice dark.

Daniel shuddered at the sound of his husband's voice and the darkness of his eyes. He knew Methos would feel the fine tremors running through his body even now.

"So it would seem," he whispered harshly, his breath coming a little faster and heavier now. "And what plans have you now, my love?"

"I plan to take you." he leaned in, his lips only just grazing Daniel's, "And keep you.."

Daniel gave a soft moan at that, pressing a little closer to Methos to kiss him.

"Gods yes," he finally replied. "Methos, please...whatever you want, it's yours..."

He smiled into the kiss, hands running down his husband's front and making quick work of his belt buckle, "I have you... that's all I want."

Daniel groaned softly, his own hands sliding beneath his husband's shirt, tugging it from his pants an letting his fingers slide along the heated skin beneath.

"Forever and always, my love..."

Groaning, he leaned into that touch, fingers undoing the fastenings of Daniel's pants. He deepened their kiss hungrily.

Daniel figured at that point they weren't going to bother making it to the bed. He unbuttoned his husband's shirt and pushed it off his body before his own hands sought out Methos' belt and the fastenings to the pants he wore.

Methos was too overcome with lust to even think about reaching the bed. He tugged down Daniel's pants, and his soon followed, his hand reaching between them to stroke both their cocks simultaneously.
