He'd been teaching now for almost a month and he was enjoying it immensely. His students were great - he had three classes that he lectured in on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and the good thing was, he was typically done by one in the afternoon. He'd spend two more hours in his office in case the students had questions and so that he could put grades into the computer when necessary.

It was just such an afternoon and he was waiting for Methos to come pick him up for the day - they were going out to dinner that night - when a knock at his door got his attention.

"Come in," he called out in Spanish. The door opened to reveal one of his students, a young American named Brian who was probably twenty years old if that. Brian smiled as he came in and closed the door. "What can I help you with, Brian?" Daniel continued in English.

"Well, I had some questions about your lecture on World War One," he said quietly as he sat down in front of Daniel's desk. Daniel nodded and leaned back in his chair.

"What kind of questions?"

"Well, more like observations, really," Brian said with a smile. What his professor didn't know was that Brian had fought in the first world war - for America - and then again in World War II and some of the things Daniel had spoken of, Brian either didn't remember happening or he remembered them a different way. Plus, it gave him a chance to spend time with the good looking man. Of course, Brian had seen the wedding band on Daniel's finger but that had never stopped Brian before...

Daniel groaned and lifted up, moving to do the same to his husband before he shifted just enough to tug down on Methos' pants, his own moving down just enough that he could straddle his husband's lap and press down against him, crying out softly as he did so.

His head fell back with a gasp as Daniel impaled himself on him, "Fuck... yes... Daniel.." his hands went to his husband's waist as he started to rock upward.

Daniel gasped and pushed down against Methos as hard as he could stand, burying his face into his husband's neck, breathing hard, panting out his lover's name as he did so.

He groaned thrusting upward faster and with more need. Methos reached down and wrapped a hand around Daniel's length stroking him as they went.

Daniel let out a harsh cry at that touch, fighting back tears as emotions threatened to completely overwhelm him/.

Methos captured his mouth in a kiss, as he continued to move inside him with a frenzy, his hand still stroking him, thumb brushing over tip.

That was all it took before Daniel cried out as he came, spilling across his husband's hand, tightening around Methos as he did so.

Methos' head fell back and his spilled inside his husband with a loud breathy moan.

Daniel whimpered softly, dropping his head onto Methos shoulder, his body shaking with emotion.

He ran his hands up and down Daniel's back, soothingly, "I love you."

"Love you too," Daniel whispered back softly, gently pulling away from his husband, gasping shakily as he did so.

"should probably finish getting us home now..."

"Okay. Are you alright?" Methos asked looking over at him.

Daniel smiled softly at him.

"Better than all right," he answered quietly. "Get us home, love, while the moonlight is still able to be used..."

Methos smiled and turned to car back on and started to drive home.

Daniel leaned back against his seat, his gaze fixed on the world outside as he waited for them to get home.

Once they were home, Methos parked the car and got out, quickly opening the door and letting Daniel in first.

Daniel stepped into the house and turned to watch his husband over his shoulder.

"Still feel up to taking me out on the patio?"

Methos followed behind him, his arms wrapping around his waist, "Of course, love."

Daniel smiled softly and stopped where he was, looking up at his husband thoughtfully.

"Let me grab a blanket," he whispered, kissing Methos gently.

"Alright. I'll be waiting." he purred in his ear before pulling away.

Daniel shivered at that purr and quickly moved into their bedroom, grabbing the comforter off their bed and heading out to the patio.

Methos was waiting, his shirt already tossed aside. He was leaning against the railing of the patio and looking up at the stars.

Daniel settled the blanket on the patio floor, shucking off his own shirt before moving up behind his husband, wrapping his arms around him from behind, kissing the back of his neck.

"How different are they now from when you were newly immortal?"

"Very. Hardly even recognizable..." he said, leaning back against him, with a content sigh.

"I wish I still had the means to take you out among them," he said softly, kissing his husband's neck, nuzzling there softly. "I think you would have loved seeing the different places."
