He'd been teaching now for almost a month and he was enjoying it immensely. His students were great - he had three classes that he lectured in on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and the good thing was, he was typically done by one in the afternoon. He'd spend two more hours in his office in case the students had questions and so that he could put grades into the computer when necessary.

It was just such an afternoon and he was waiting for Methos to come pick him up for the day - they were going out to dinner that night - when a knock at his door got his attention.

"Come in," he called out in Spanish. The door opened to reveal one of his students, a young American named Brian who was probably twenty years old if that. Brian smiled as he came in and closed the door. "What can I help you with, Brian?" Daniel continued in English.

"Well, I had some questions about your lecture on World War One," he said quietly as he sat down in front of Daniel's desk. Daniel nodded and leaned back in his chair.

"What kind of questions?"

"Well, more like observations, really," Brian said with a smile. What his professor didn't know was that Brian had fought in the first world war - for America - and then again in World War II and some of the things Daniel had spoken of, Brian either didn't remember happening or he remembered them a different way. Plus, it gave him a chance to spend time with the good looking man. Of course, Brian had seen the wedding band on Daniel's finger but that had never stopped Brian before...

Daniel smiled softly and pushed himself to his feet once more. "I'll make sure everything is locked up then. It may sound... strange... but... I really need a shower. Just being near him today was..." He shuddered, trailing off on that thought as he moved to lock up the house and set the security alarm. "Did you ever call the agent back?" he asked, walking back into the dining room.

In all the events of today, worrying about Brian, Methos had forgotten.

"I'll have to do it tomorrow morning. I forgot to do it today.." Methos said as he finished eating. He took his plates to the kitchen.

Daniel leaned against the counter, watching him. He'd have forgotten about it, too, given all that was going on around them.

"You're staying home with me tomorrow, remember?" he asked softly. Tomorrow was Wednesday. If Methos had forgotten to tell his employees then Daniel would just go into work with him; he wasn't staying at the house alone, security systems or not.

"Yes. I'd already planned to do that, before all of this." he nodded. Having notified his employees already.

He finished cleaning his dishes and went to Daniel, arms wrapping around him protectively. Truth be told, Methos was scared. He was worried that despite all planning and knowledge, Brian might get to Daniel anyway. And he didn't want that to happen.

"I can not believe I'm going to even suggest this, but... couldn't you challenge him before he tries to do something to me?" Daniel asked softly, content to be in his husband's arms at that moment.

"I'll try and seek him out." he said, "And there is no guarantee that he'll fight by the rules. I'm tempted to just shoot him then decapitate him on sight. The Game be damned."

"I suppose we're lucky in that he doesn't know who you really are," Daniel said quietly. "Something tells me that would only make things much worse. If he's been around as long as he has, I suppose it's possible he's heard of you..." He shivered and buried his face into his husband's neck. "God... I'm so sorry. If I weren't teaching he wouldn't have found me... or you."

"It's not your fault Daniel. It's all his." He said, running his hand through Daniel's hair.

Daniel just pressed in closer to Methos and held him more tightly.

"As much as I want to stay standing here... I really want that shower before we go to bed..."

He nodded, "Can I join you, in this shower? I think I may need one, as well."

"Yes, please," Daniel whispered, not wanting to be away from his husband for now. He pulled back just far enough to kiss Methos softly before flipping off the lights in the kitchen and heading for their bedroom and the large bathroom that adjoined it.

He followed Daniel, stripping off his clothes as they entered the bathroom. He went over and turned on the hot water, giving Daniel a sly look as he stepped inside the shower.

Daniel quickly stripped out of his own clothes, following his husband into the shower, sighing heavily at the feel of the hot water against his tense body as he moved and pressed Methos back against the tiled wall, kissing him hard. He just needed to feel his husband and forget about Brian Jefferson as much as he could, at least for tonight.

Methos moaned into the kiss, wanting equally to just forget about Brian for a moment and enjoy the company of his husband. His hands roamed his body as the water fell over them.

Daniel pressed in closer, nipping at Methos' neck, his hands sliding across his husband's back and sides as he did so.

"Take your time with me later... right now... I just need to feel you... all of you... please...I really don't need you to hold back right now..."

"Alright, love." he purred, turning suddenly to press Daniel against the side of the shower, kissing him roughly.

Daniel gasped and groaned into that kiss, digging his fingers into his husband's back tightly, pulling him closer.

He pressed flush against him, gripping Daniel's cock and stroking it in his hands, continuing to kiss him with a needy growl.

Daniel pushed into that grip, unable to stop himself from doing so, desperate for the contact. The growl coming from his husband was making him even harder and he gave a needy moan into that kiss.

"Turn around." Methos mumbled into his mouth, nibbling on his bottom lip, stroking him.

Daniel groaned softly at those words and turned, his back to Methos now, his hands braced against the tiled wall.

He continued to stroke Daniel, but used his other free hand to ease him open, teasing him with his fingers.

Daniel pressed back against those fingers, dropping his forehead against the wall as he did so, unable to choose between pushing back against his husband's fingers or pressing forward into Methos' hand.

Methos didn't waste much time before he was sliding himself into his husband, filling him with his length. He gasped in pleasure, murmuring Daniel's name. Then he started to rock his hips.

Daniel gave a sharp gasp as Methos entered him and pushed back, working to meet each of his lover's thrusts, groaning softly.

"Methos..." he whispered softly, his husband's name a soft plea on his lips.
