Getting Caught

Daniel had left Colorado feeling both content and torn. He missed Methos and he knew the older man would laugh at him for being so sentimental. He carried the glock everywhere he went, keeping it well hidden on himself. Even in the museum he kept it in a shoulder holster for fear that his teammates or someone worse might come looking for him.

He'd been in New York for almost two weeks when he started packing up to get ready to leave for Egypt. He'd already sent several boxes ahead and they'd be at his home there by the time he arrived. He packed up the last of Methos' journals in a duffel bag and slung it over his shoulder as he headed out of the museum and headed for the hotel where he'd been staying. He wasn't paying a whole lot of attention to his surroundings and therefore didn't realize he was being followed. He entered the Plaza hotel and made for the elevator which took him to the tenth floor. Stepping out of the elevator, he headed three doors down to his suite and swiped the card to unlock the door. Inside, he set the bag to one side, closed the door behind him and headed further into the room. He had just turned towards the mini-bar when pain exploded in his head and he was out cold.


When he woke, it was dark in the room except for a couple of low lights that weren't clsoe to him. He tried to move and realized he was bound to the bed. What the hell...

"Hello?"

"You know, it's taken me a while to figure out where the hell you disappeared to," came a familiar voice. "I don't like having to track you down, Daniel. You know I'm not a patient man."

"Screw you, Jack," Daniel growled out angrily. "I don't work for you or your government anymore. Now let me go and get the hell out of here before I forget we every had a friendship and I just kill you myself."

"Why Daniel... I think you're angry. Look, just... tell me what I want to know and all of this can stop. You have my word..."

Daniel shook his head. He didn't believe that for a moment. He should have just gone straight to the airport. For a brief moment, he wondered where Methos might be... or what he might do if he found Daniel like this...

Daniel watched him, smiling up at him softly, letting Methos touch him however he wanted.

"I've missed your touch," he admitted quietly. "Or, rather, the way you touch me... especially like this. No one has every touched me or treated me the way you do... and you've only known me a few weeks..."

"No one?" Methos repeated, in surprise, "I've said it once, I've said it a thousand times... the world is full of fools."

He kissed him as he turned to lay on his back, pulling Daniel to rest on his stomach.

Daniel smiled and was quick to settle himself against his lover, half draped across Methos' upper body. He dropped his chin onto his hands which rested against his lover's chest and fixed him with an almost innocent gaze.

"And you do not suffer fools lightly do you, my dear immortal?"

"No, not at all." he agreed, with an amused smile. Methos ran his hands up and down Daniel's back.

"Hmmm... good to know," he said, tilting his head and resting his cheek just over the slow beating heart beneath his lover's chest. He gave a soft, almost purring sound, as he felt those hands sliding up and down along his back.

"Like that?" he drew his hands across him slower and languidly.

"Oh yes," he whispered softly, pressing in a little more against the elder's body. "You have found my weakness..."

He rubbed his shoulders then rubbed down his back, "Hmm.... I'll have to remember it."

"Something tells me you don't forget much," Daniel teased softly, one hand moving around his chest, fingers drawing idle figures as he did so.

"So... have you been to Morocco before?" he asked quietly.

"No, much no." he agreed, his hands still roaming Daniel's back.

Methos laughed at the question, "There are very few places left in the world I haven't been."

Daniel sat up, shifting to where he was straddling his lover, watching him intently.

"So why not pick a place you've never been because I'm pretty sure it'll be a place I haven't been as well. I've been to Egypt... that's about it. Unless you think Morocco's going to be safer. Speaking of... guess I should think of a new identity, huh?"

Methos sighed through his nose, "The only places left are places I have no desire to go to. And places we'd more than likely get shot in. Or places in Siberia that are too damned cold. I like the Mediterranean and places nearby the equator."

"And yes, you should. You should start thinking of a name and work on your Arabic and French. Make your accent less noticeable, so as not to stand out."

"Arabic and French are like second languages to me. I speak both very fluently and my accent is affected when I speak them. Not to worry there. The only thing I have to worry about is choosing a new name. Not something I'm good at... Just have to think of something you won't forget."

The last was said in a teasing manner before he leaned down and kissed the elder softly, hands sliding up and down along his chest now.

"Yes, I am rather old, you know. I'm starting to go a bit senile." he chuckled into the kiss, his hands now resting on Daniels shoulders.

"Oh I will take great pleasure in reminding you as often as necessary," Daniel teased, shifting to bite down gently against his lover's neck, body shifting a little until he's laying back against Methos once more, mouthing his way along the elder's collarbone now.

"How about Ibrahim? Always did like a good Ibrahim. Or Steve. Steve's a good solid name." he's grinning, but arching in Daniel's mouth and massaging his shoulders.

"Hmmm... I could probably pull of Ibrahim so long as I keep my true accent hidden. I'm sure you'll be happy to help with that." He continued mouthing his way down lower, across Methos' chest, and lower towards his stomach, nipping and kissing at the heated skin as he moved.

"More than happy to help. I don't even have an accent to hide anymore, you know. I have to adapt to wherever I am. I'm clearly not British. I just like to way it makes me sound." he chuckled, then groaned at Daniel's ministrations. Methos ran his hands through Daniel's hair, careful of the stitches.

Daniel stopped speaking and kept up with what he was doing, mouth and hands moving lower across his lover's body. He dragged his tongue up along Methos' length, his hands sliding up and down along the immortal's legs as he did so.

Methos was immediately responsive to the attention, and quickly became aroused again. He watched the younger man's tongue trail along him and it elicited a lustfilled moan.

Daniel chuckled softly at the sound and continued teasing his lover, nipping the inside of Methos' thigh, his hand moving to wrap around the elder's length, stroking him slowly.

"Is that how it is?" Methos breathed, "I-I can't tease you, yet you c-can me?"

He arched into his hand.

"Never said you couldn't, Methos. You're the one who stopped..." With a cheeky grin and kissed his way back up along his lover's body. "Don't want me to tease you, then tell me what you want..."

He laughed quietly, and kissed Daniel lightly, on the mouth.

"I don't care. As long as it's from you."

"Good answer," Daniel whispered softly as he straddled the older man and pressed back against him until he could feel that length press inside of him. He held himself still for a moment before he pressed back further in one movement before he stilled once more, gasping softly for breath.
