Getting Caught

Daniel had left Colorado feeling both content and torn. He missed Methos and he knew the older man would laugh at him for being so sentimental. He carried the glock everywhere he went, keeping it well hidden on himself. Even in the museum he kept it in a shoulder holster for fear that his teammates or someone worse might come looking for him.

He'd been in New York for almost two weeks when he started packing up to get ready to leave for Egypt. He'd already sent several boxes ahead and they'd be at his home there by the time he arrived. He packed up the last of Methos' journals in a duffel bag and slung it over his shoulder as he headed out of the museum and headed for the hotel where he'd been staying. He wasn't paying a whole lot of attention to his surroundings and therefore didn't realize he was being followed. He entered the Plaza hotel and made for the elevator which took him to the tenth floor. Stepping out of the elevator, he headed three doors down to his suite and swiped the card to unlock the door. Inside, he set the bag to one side, closed the door behind him and headed further into the room. He had just turned towards the mini-bar when pain exploded in his head and he was out cold.


When he woke, it was dark in the room except for a couple of low lights that weren't clsoe to him. He tried to move and realized he was bound to the bed. What the hell...

"Hello?"

"You know, it's taken me a while to figure out where the hell you disappeared to," came a familiar voice. "I don't like having to track you down, Daniel. You know I'm not a patient man."

"Screw you, Jack," Daniel growled out angrily. "I don't work for you or your government anymore. Now let me go and get the hell out of here before I forget we every had a friendship and I just kill you myself."

"Why Daniel... I think you're angry. Look, just... tell me what I want to know and all of this can stop. You have my word..."

Daniel shook his head. He didn't believe that for a moment. He should have just gone straight to the airport. For a brief moment, he wondered where Methos might be... or what he might do if he found Daniel like this...

Methos hips started to piston up into Daniel. His mouth parted in pleasure and he locked eyes with the man.

"I love you."

Daniel leaned down to kiss him, pressing back to meet each of those movements.

"At least the boat isn't moving so much," he whispered against Methos' lips. "That'd be interesting..."

Methos chuckled and kissed him back, "It would be, yes."

He deepened the kiss wrapping his arms around Daniel increasing the power and speed of his thrusts.

Daniel's breath came harder and faster and he moved, burying his face into the side of his lover's neck, groaning softly as he did so.

His thrusts became uneven and heated. His nails started to dig desperately into the back of the man he loved. He was so close, "Daniel..."

Those nails set against his back brought Daniel right to that edge and he cried out, pressing back hard against Methos, biting down against is lover's neck as he did so.

Methos cried out and it was two more strokes and he was orgasming and shuddering into Daniel.

Daniel tightened rode out that pleasure before his body started to relax but he was happy to stay right where he was, laid out against his lover's lithe form. He nuzzled just beneath Methos' chin, his hand resting against the side of the other man's face.

"Gods but you are incredible," he whispered softly.

Methos smiled, and kissed the palm of the hand on his cheek, mimicking Daniel's earlier action. He relished the feel of the man resting across him.

"You aren't so bad yourself."

Daniel curled in closer to the immortal's body and rested the side of his face against Methos' chest.

"So... if I'm having to come up with a new name, what about you?"

"I already have an identity set up. Complete with paperwork. I have several set up and waiting for me around the world. My name will be Dante Mattari. I'll be an independently wealthy Italian man on holiday." he grinned.

"Hmmm... I see," Daniel said, placing a chaste kiss against Methos' chest. "And just what kind of background and paperwork can you set up for the man with you who calls himself Ibraham?"

"You can be my Morrocan lover, no?" his accent shifted to a thick Italian one.

"Hmmm... how could I say no to such an offer?" Daniel answered in Arabic, affecting the accent as well. Yeah... he could be a show off when he wanted and right now, he kinda wanted to be.

Methos looked impressed, and answered in Italian, "I'm a very good negotiator, Ibrahim."

"Of that I have no doubt," Daniel replied in the same Italian language before kissing him softly. "I did mention that I speak twenty-five languages, yes?"

"You didn't, but I was vaguely aware of your very impressive skills before I even met you." he smiled and kissed him back, "I speak... Lord, I don't even know how many. A few, lets say."

"A few?" Daniel said with a grin. "Something tells me your few is probably ten times the twenty-five I know, old man." He settled back down against his lovers chest, eyes closing slowly. "What about cooking?" he asked after a moment of silence between them.

"There's a stove and a kitchen. And I stocked up when we stopped at the store. I happen to be a very good cook." he said, playing idly with Daniel's hair.

"Hmmm... I'll get you to show me later. Right now, I'm too comfortable to move..."

"Well, I can make breakfast in the morning. What would you like? Pancakes, omelets, sausage...?"

"All of the above?" Daniel looked up at Methos with a grin. "I've got a high metabolism and I'm a really good eater..."

"Perhaps I should have bought more food." he joked, but he wasn't worried. He'd bought plenty of food and they wouldn't be in danger of starvation even if they were traveling to Japan.

Daniel chuckled softly and settled back down once more. He was quiet for a moment or two before speaking again, a slight hint of fear in his voice as he did so.

"You're sure we're far enough away from shore, right?" he asked softly.

Methos kissed the top of his head, comfortingly, "I can stay up a while longer and get us out farther... and you can rest."
