"You followed me," Daniel echoed quietly, clothes forgotten for the moment. "You saw him then... what he did to me... that he was following me... and you did nothing to stop it from happening... " he trailed off and blinked back the tears in his eyes. "Why? Why help me now? You still won't stay with me... so why?"
