He'd been teaching now for almost a month and he was enjoying it immensely. His students were great - he had three classes that he lectured in on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and the good thing was, he was typically done by one in the afternoon. He'd spend two more hours in his office in case the students had questions and so that he could put grades into the computer when necessary.

It was just such an afternoon and he was waiting for Methos to come pick him up for the day - they were going out to dinner that night - when a knock at his door got his attention.

"Come in," he called out in Spanish. The door opened to reveal one of his students, a young American named Brian who was probably twenty years old if that. Brian smiled as he came in and closed the door. "What can I help you with, Brian?" Daniel continued in English.

"Well, I had some questions about your lecture on World War One," he said quietly as he sat down in front of Daniel's desk. Daniel nodded and leaned back in his chair.

"What kind of questions?"

"Well, more like observations, really," Brian said with a smile. What his professor didn't know was that Brian had fought in the first world war - for America - and then again in World War II and some of the things Daniel had spoken of, Brian either didn't remember happening or he remembered them a different way. Plus, it gave him a chance to spend time with the good looking man. Of course, Brian had seen the wedding band on Daniel's finger but that had never stopped Brian before...

He nibbled on Daniel's neck, then kissed along it, as he pounded harder into him.

Daniel gave a soft, keening sound at that, tightening around his husband as he grew closer to orgasm.

[identity profile] really-oldguy.livejournal.com 2010-12-11 03:43 am (UTC)(link)
"Daniel...." he moaned, his mouth closing around the spot where neck met shoulder, his hips continuing there movements and his on hand stroking his husband.

Daniel cried out his husband's name as he came, tightening around Methos even as he spilled across his husband's hand.

[identity profile] really-oldguy.livejournal.com 2010-12-11 03:48 am (UTC)(link)
Methos whimpered and shouted out as he too came, thrusting through his orgasm.

[identity profile] dr-dmjacksonsg1.livejournal.com 2010-12-11 03:51 am (UTC)(link)
Daniel gasped sharply, still pressing back against his husband as he felt Methos let go...

When they both stilled again, Daniel slowly pulled away and turned to kiss his husband softly.

[identity profile] really-oldguy.livejournal.com 2010-12-11 04:07 am (UTC)(link)
He held him close, "We'll get this figured out... it'll be okay. I promise."

[identity profile] dr-dmjacksonsg1.livejournal.com 2010-12-11 04:09 am (UTC)(link)
"I know," he whispered. "I trust you, my love."

A few minutes later they both came out of the bathroom and headed into the bedroom, Daniel pulling on pajama bottoms.

"I can try to fix us something to eat if you want anything. I did board up the window..."

[identity profile] really-oldguy.livejournal.com 2010-12-11 05:50 am (UTC)(link)
He pulled on a pair of sweatpants, following Daniel, "Alright... I suppose I could eat."

Methos looked at the window, "I'll call someone in to get it replaced."

Daniel nodded at that and moved quietly through the kitchen, pulling out that things he would need to cook with. He would keep it somewhat simple, or so he thought, but cooking for him was like those kata exercises for his husband... it gave him a chance to focus and find some sense of calm. By the time he'd finished what he was doing, he'd made enchiladas and set them in the oven to cook.

"It's going to take about forty minutes or so for them to cook," he said quietly.

[identity profile] really-oldguy.livejournal.com 2010-12-11 02:59 pm (UTC)(link)
Methos nodded, absently, lost in thought about what to do about Brian. How to best approach stopping him.

[identity profile] dr-dmjacksonsg1.livejournal.com 2010-12-11 03:01 pm (UTC)(link)
"I'm going to grab the stuff off the patio," Daniel told him before heading out the nearby patio door to do so, grabbing up towels and water bottles and putting them away before turning to look at the bokken's. He held the one he'd been using in his hand, just looking at it, almost as if he were studying it.

[identity profile] really-oldguy.livejournal.com 2010-12-11 03:08 pm (UTC)(link)
He noticed Daniel on the patio staring at the bokken, he stepped out to help him clean up, "Problem?"

[identity profile] dr-dmjacksonsg1.livejournal.com 2010-12-11 03:11 pm (UTC)(link)
Daniel looked up quickly at his husband. He'd been thinking of trying to just take the bastard himself... shoot him and then take his head like Methos had told him to do if he'd found himself in that situation. After all, Brian had technically killed his husband... but he wasn't about to tell Methos those thoughts. He knew his husband would freak out on him. He quickly shook his head, setting the bokken down on the table.

"No... just... sorry. I got a little sidetracked is all."

[identity profile] really-oldguy.livejournal.com 2010-12-11 05:19 pm (UTC)(link)
Methos could tell there was more to it that that, but didn't push him.

"We've got two days to think up a game plan..." he noted.

[identity profile] dr-dmjacksonsg1.livejournal.com 2010-12-11 07:09 pm (UTC)(link)
Daniel nodded slowly.

"He's expecting you to bring me with you," he said quietly. "Can immortals feel regular mortals like myself?"

[identity profile] really-oldguy.livejournal.com 2010-12-11 08:57 pm (UTC)(link)
"No, they cannot. And I really don't know how he expects to make me bring you with me. Putting you right in the line of fire... he must think I was born yesterday."

[identity profile] dr-dmjacksonsg1.livejournal.com 2010-12-11 09:00 pm (UTC)(link)
"Then don't... put me in the line of fire that is," Daniel said quietly. "I'm just as good with a gun as any other mortal that spent fifteen years with the military. I do know how to hide. He won't know I'm there and if it even looks like he's not playing by rules or that you're even close to losing, I'll just shoot him... and you can do whatever you want with him."

[identity profile] really-oldguy.livejournal.com 2010-12-11 09:15 pm (UTC)(link)
Methos didn't really want Daniel to be there at all. But it wasn't a terrible plan.

He nodded, "Alright... then that's what we'll do."

[identity profile] dr-dmjacksonsg1.livejournal.com 2010-12-11 09:17 pm (UTC)(link)
"Really? No... arguing with me about my being there?" Daniel looked genuinely surprised. "Thank you," he said softly. "We are, after all, in this together, right?"

[identity profile] really-oldguy.livejournal.com 2010-12-11 09:27 pm (UTC)(link)
He nodded, slowly, 'Yes... we are. I'd rather you be nowhere on the same Continent as that man, but I know that you wouldn't want me to go face him alone..."

[identity profile] dr-dmjacksonsg1.livejournal.com 2010-12-11 09:31 pm (UTC)(link)
Daniel stepped closer to him, wrapping his arms around his husband tightly.

"I wasn't planning on letting you go alone... even if I had to go on my own without you knowing it. I'm not letting that bastard near you without some kind of backup. Like you said. He's not playing by the rules. Why should you?"

[identity profile] really-oldguy.livejournal.com 2010-12-11 09:48 pm (UTC)(link)
Methos returned the hug, "I know. You're right, Daniel..."

[identity profile] dr-dmjacksonsg1.livejournal.com 2010-12-11 09:51 pm (UTC)(link)
Daniel stood there and just held his husband for several long minutes before pulling back and kissing him softly.

"When you first came back and you looked so confused, I was afraid that shot to your head might have damaged your memory."

[identity profile] really-oldguy.livejournal.com 2010-12-11 10:00 pm (UTC)(link)
"It did for a moment, not know where I was... but everything heals... unfortunately this isn't the first time I've been shot in the head." he frowned, "So, I know that from experience."
