Daniel looked up as they entered the living area and stood slowly, despite the pounding in his hair.
"I only called him after I couldn't reach you," Daniel said quietly, holding out his hand to MacLeod. "Daniel Jackson."
Duncan took the younger man's hand. "Duncan MacLeod. I'm sorry I didn't answer when you called me first. I didn't recognize the number or the country code at first. When I did, I called Joe. Luckily he was still on the phone with you." Daniel nodded and moved closer to Methos, resting a hand on his husband's arm.
