Daniel flinched at the tone and volume of those words.

"What... the man who took me... you didn't... you didnt do anything to him did you?" He had a feeling that Methos could have done something, but Daniel wasn't sure if he would. It wasn't as if Daniel was that important...

"And we have survival instincts.... I just wasn't paying attention. I let down my guard because I'd been safe for two weeks. I didn't think he'd come after me... I thought it was over." He closed his eyes tiredly.
